With 1945 × 1097 effective pixels, the WAT-06U2D provides selectable output up to 1920 × 1080 at 30 fps. Full HD Imaging
The WAT-06U2D provides selectable output sizes of 1920 × 1080, 1280 × 720, 640 × 480, and 320 × 240. Maximum frame rate is 30 fps. MJPG and YUY2 output formats are available through the USB Video Class interface.
Horizontal resolution exceeds 900 TVL at the center of the image. The progressive scanning system provides complete image frames without interlaced scanning.
Resolution-Dependent Frame Rates
MJPG supports 30 fps or 15 fps at 1920 × 1080, 1280 × 720, 640 × 480, and 320 × 240. YUY2 supports 5 fps at 1920 × 1080; 7.5 fps at 1280 × 720; and 30 fps or 15 fps at 640 × 480 and 320 × 240.
Low-Light Performance
Minimum illumination is 0.3 lx at F2.0 with automatic gain control at 36 dB and the shutter off. Sensitivity extends to 0.07 lx at F2.0 with automatic gain control at 36 dB and a 1/7.5-second shutter.
Automatic gain control operates from 0 to 36 dB. Manual gain control is adjustable from 0 to 72 dB in 1 dB steps. Exposure options include fixed shutter speeds, electronic iris operation, low-light compensation, and extended exposures of 1/15, 1/7.5, and 1/4 second.
IPX7 Water-Resistant Construction
The WAT-06U2D has an IPX7-compliant water-resistant structure for outdoor use. IPX7 identifies protection against water ingress under its defined test conditions and does not represent a dust-ingress rating.
USB Interface and Power
A high-speed USB interface provides video transmission and 5 V bus power. Power consumption is 0.65 W at 130 mA. The integrated cable is 1.2 meters long, with a documented maximum length of 3.0 meters.

Camera Controls
Camera Viewer provides controls for brightness, contrast, hue, saturation, sharpness, gamma, automatic and manual white balance, backlight compensation, gain, power-line frequency, exposure, low-light compensation, Sensor Sense, and digital zoom.
Sensor Sense provides HIGH and LOW sensitivity settings. The LOW setting reduces sensor sensitivity to one-half of the HIGH setting for bright imaging environments.
Digital Zoom
At 640 × 480, available digital zoom settings are 1×, 1.38×, and 2.25×. At 1280 × 720, available settings are 1×, 1.2×, and 1.5×. Digital zoom availability depends on the selected compression format, output resolution, and frame rate.
Lens and Mounting Options
The standard M3620BC-12 miniature lens has a 3.6 mm focal length and F2.0 aperture. Optional M0620BC-12 and M0816BC-12 miniature lens configurations are available as made-to-order options.
The camera includes a mounting base with a standard 1/4-inch mounting interface. The optional TS01A holder provides an additional mounting method.
Operating Environment
The operating temperature range is -10°C to +50°C. Storage temperature is -30°C to +70°C. Operating and storage humidity must remain at or below 95% RH without condensation.
